At Dan Jenkins, DDS, our goal is to provide “comfortable dental care from the hands of experience with modern technology.” Dedicated to providing care for the whole family, we offer "no drill" fillings, (with the Waterlase laser technology), cosmetic procedures following the cosmetic techniques of LVI, (the premier cosmetic dentistry training facility www.lviglobal.com), Veneers, Implants, and Neuromuscular TMJ therapy. Our office atmosphere is friendly, unhurried, on time, and dedicated to providing dental care that is the best available in dentistry for you.
Our high tech lasers, digital x-rays, laser cavity finder, and cameras for inside the mouth are state of the art; but the way we use them in a caring manner is what will matter most to you.
Our dental labs are chosen for their superb work, not for being the cheapest. (Some labs are sub-letting work out to China and other countries.) Our proud, Certified Dental Laboratory Technicians in their individually owned, quality private labs use only the best materials to provide crowns, bridges, and other restorations that will provide the best service; but your experience in our office during your appointments will be what you remember for a long time.
Our dental materials are not purchased for the least expensive cost, but rather the materials that the latest research has shown to be the best for each situation they are used for. Less expensive materials could be used and you would not know the difference; but, we know which are the most durable.
Our dental hygienists are highly trained and use lasers in reducing the bacteria under your gums as well as removing the build up. They do this with gentle, deliberate, thorough care over a one hour period. They are trained and have years of experience to observe over that one hour, possible problems in your mouth and let you know about them. Reducing build up and bacteria are important to prevent the bacteria from getting into your blood stream. Since recent studies have shown a connection between these bacteria and blood clots in the heart and brain, it is important to reduce the build up and bacteria under our gums for the health of the rest of our body too.
When it comes to your health, you should get the best. Your smile and your whole mouth is a very important part of your over-all health. We want to take the same care of your teeth and the other areas of your mouth as you would if you were a dentist too!
At our office we do provide cosmetic services such as smile makeovers, veneers, porcelain inlays and fillings, and reconstuction of the entire mouth. But, all of these cosmetic procedures are the cream at the top. A reconstruction would be useless if the foundation underneath is not strong and stable. When you come in for an examination you will be checked for the foundation of your teeth. This will include a cancer check. We have a new early oral cancer detection system, (Vizilite), that finds cancer cells earlier than ever before. You will feel better knowing that the soft tissues in your mouth have been screened with this early detection procedure. We will also check for the bone support of your teeth, cracks in your teeth or existing fillings and any decay slowly degrading your teeth. Your bite will be checked to make sure the "gears" you grind your food with, (I'm a firm believer in eating!), is working properly and not causing you bigger problems in the long run. After all, we all want to keep eating for a long time - right?
